This image from The Wilderness Society’s new book on the endangered Florentine ,Weld and Styx forests – ‘Wild Forest’ – page 10 – showing how unprotected the remaining tall trees are in Tasmania.
Please also add a note that the green area shown as ‘formal reserves ‘ covers all types of vegetation and landforms including rocky mountains etc so that the casual observer doesn’t incorrectly think green = protected tall trees.
