Facticus evadus

I’m a tad concerned about the recent spate of amnesia outbreaks in Tasmania. Bob Gordon is the latest official in a long line to be struck down with this malady. The real cause remains unknown, but I have read about it on the net and experts have put it down to a rare virus…the facticus evadus strain that seems to have surfaced in Tassie. This is a pre cursor to the more virulent loopholus offhookus which is proven to exist in the higher echelons of Tasmanian society. I hope we find a cure soon …
Forestry unsure on Bartlett briefing on mill supply
Posted 9 hours 53 minutes ago
Forestry Tasmania’s General Manager has told a Parliamentary Committee he can’t remember when he briefed the Premier about extending the company’s wood supply contract for Gunns’ proposed pulp mill.
The Committee is scrutinising Forestry’s performance as a Government Business Enterprise.

In June the Premier David Bartlett said all Government support for the mill would end if it was not underway by the end of November.

He also said he wanted good commercial reasons from Forestry Tasmania before it extended the wood supply agreement.

Mr Bartlett yesterday said he’d been convinced there was good reason to extend the deal.

The Greens Kim Booth has used today’s hearing to ask when the Premier was last briefed on the agreement and what the advice was.

Forestry’s General Manager Bob Gordon said he briefed Mr Bartlett and the Opposition on the deal but could not remember when.

Nor did he reveal the details of the briefing.
