Forestry, Gunns to blame …

Posted on

The current system that dredges the river does not work, how dredging work can five days a week (maybe), could we get twenty people give them a straw, a plastic bucket, they would remove more silt then the current system.

What it needs is a decent dredger, that work seven days a week, day and night.

The need for a more radical solution as the weeks and months go on get stronger and stronger.

The bird population have had their first race meeting. They call it mud skidding, eight teams of four birds per team, they fly from the Cataract Gorge over the Bridge, land at the first Buoy and the longest skidding teams wins.

So don’t be surprised if they picket the Dredge to keep the silt.

Mr Wayne Gull said to pass on to the people that they have representatives in high places in Government and on the Gunns board and are prepared to dig in. But back to more relevant day to day stuff, could there be a tax put on the brown footprint in the Tamar River as there is a tax on a black Carbon footprint the Feds are advocating.
