I note that Peter Garrett confirms means testing the solar panel rebate as “the right decision, given that the program was so strong”. This is in the past tense – therefore he is assuming that the program will no longer be so strong. So as the Federal Minister for Environment, he is hoping the change to solar energy will slow down! Meanwhile millions go the the coal industry to support those poor rich people who can’t make enough out of our resources boom.
