TAP, via its Voters Block offers trans-party support to all political candidates whose policy accords with ours, particularly those candidates who oppose the proposed pulp mill in the Tamar and the shonky assessment process associated with the project. TAP will present HOW TO VOTE information for the House of Representatives and indicate for each electorate who to preference FIRST, and even more importantly for the major parties, which party to preference LAST. TAP will also indicate its Senate preferences.

TASMANIANS AGAINST THE PULPMILL (TAP)

TAP (Tasmanians Against the Pulpmill) announces the launch of its political campaign. This will take place on Thursday November 15th in City Park, Launbceston at 10:30 am.

TAP, via its Voters Block offers trans-party support to all political candidates whose policy accords with ours, particularly those candidates who oppose the proposed pulp mill in the Tamar and the shonky assessment process associated with the project.

TAP will present HOW TO VOTE information for the House of Representatives and indicate for each electorate who to preference FIRST, and even more importantly for the major parties, which party to preference LAST. TAP will also indicate its Senate preferences.

Following on from the considerable influence the Voters Block exerted during the recent Local Government elections, TAP expects its Voters Block to influence the voting across Tasmania in the forthcoming Federal elections.

TAP will announce a platform of measures to overcome the funding shortfall in the public health system, as well as in public education and public housing.
