Would someone please explain to Mayor Dean that the unique ‘triple burner system’ in which he holds such faith treats about 99.9% of the odour, but does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for the remaining 0.1% – the fugitive odour. While 0.1% might not sound like very much, after 27 years experiencing it, I can assure every Tasmanian that it is quite enough to cause nausea and headaches in about 50% of people. As Dr Peter Manins stated correctly on the 4 Corners program, Gunns have been in a state of denial over this fugitive odour since February 2004 and the Finns in Poyry Oy refuse to acknowledge that it even exists.
