Media release – Tamar Valley Wine, October 2025
A New Festival to Sip, Taste and Celebrate the Best of the Tamar Valley
Tasmania’s iconic Tamar Valley will come alive this spring with the launch of a brand-new event, Taste the Tamar, inviting locals and visitors alike to indulge in a full-day celebration of wine, food and live music.
Taking place on Saturday, 18 October at the Exeter Showgrounds, the event will showcase the region’s wine producers, artisan food and local talent in a relaxed, festival-style setting.
Visitors can meet the makers, discover new favourite drinks and graze their way through the region’s best produce. A lineup of talented local musicians will provide the soundtrack to the day.
“We’re thrilled to launch Taste the Tamar and create a new way for people to connect with everything our valley has to offer,”
said Louise Nunn, Executive Officer from Tamar Valley Wine.
“We wanted to bring a springtime event into the calendar that complements the other fantastic festivals and celebrations in Northern Tasmania. It’s the perfect way to roll into the warmer months, connect with friends and enjoy quality food and wine together.”
