Women’s March for Climate Action Hobart
Photographs from today’s rally in the Tasmanian capital.
Organisers said it’s the first step in a nationwide bid for state and federal declarations of a climate emergency.
“Women held up traffic as they marched and sang their way through the CBD, calling on the government to address the climate crisis,” a spokesperson said.
“The march was led by a group of suffragettes to symbolise the transformative power of civil disobedience.”
