Michael Kent is not Jacqui’s boy
Greens candidate for Lyons, Fraser Brindley, commented today on revelations that Jacqui Lambie Network (JLN) candidate for Lyons, Michael Kent, does not support JLN policy on poker machines.
“Michael Kent has confirmed again that he is his own man and that the policies of the JLN mean little to him.
“On salmon farms and poker machines, Michael Kent is not Jacqui’s boy.
“This demonstrates the problem with political parties that are built around personalities and publicity, and not around shared values.
“If Jacqui can’t keep her candidates in line during an election, what hope does she making them stick to JLN policies once they’re in parliament?
“In essence, there is only one member of the Jacqui Lambie Network, and she is not running in this election.
“Compare the JLN to the Greens who are unified on pokies, unified on salmon farms, unified in our vision for a clean, green future for Tasmania.”
