Pinktober Hobart 2017: Government House is lit pink

Hobart Volunteer Committee for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF)
October = Pinktober
Each year the Hobart Volunteer Committee organises a number of events to highlight the work of the National Breast Cancer Foundation in funding world class research to achieve better outcomes for those people in our community impacted by breast cancer.

This year the Hobart Volunteer Committee for the NBCF has organised the following local events:

Government House
When: 1 October 2017- 31 October 2017
Where: Government House Hobart
What: Government House is lit pink to shine a spotlight on breast cancer awareness and breast cancer research, proudly supporting Pinktober Hobart 2017

MacMurray Insurance Brokers Pinktober Light Up Hobart 2017
When: 1 October 2017- 31 October 2017
Where: Railway Roundabout Fountain, the Elizabeth Mall and Kennedy Lane, and Franklin Square Fountain
What: Landmarks lit pink to shine a spotlight on breast cancer awareness and breast cancer research

2017 MacMurray Insurance Brokers Pink Cup
When: Sunday 8 October 2017 from midday
Where: Luxbet Park Elwick
What: An annual thoroughbred racing event which has raised over $246,000 for breast cancer research since it began in Hobart ten years ago, this year’s event raised over $10,000 for research

TasTAFE Drysdale House Pinktober Light Up
When: 1 October to 31 October 2017
Where: TasTAFE Drysdale Hospitality Campus, Collins St Hobart
What: Drysdale on Collins St lit pink to support the MacMurray Insurance Brokers Pinktober Light Up Hobart 2017

Military Mumma Headquarters Pinktober Bootcamp
When: 14 October 2017
Where: Military Mumma Headquarters Kennedy Drive Cambridge
What: Bootcamp event proudly supporting Pinktober Hobart 2017

Raw Challenge Tasmania 5 November Pink Wave
When: Sign up before 31 October for the event on the 5 November 2017
Where: Marion Bay Falls site
What: Mud run challenge – $20 from each ticket sold for the Pink Wave is proudly supporting Pinktober Hobart 2017
