HOBIENNALE 2017 at GASP
In November, GASP and HB17 present projects from two Artist Run Initiatives, Meanwhile from Wellington New Zealand and Alaska from Sydney.
The GASP HB17 program launches on Sunday afternoon 5 November 2017, with a Sunday Session including installations, music, food & bar at the GASP Pavilion.
HOBIENNALE 3-12 November 2017, brings together a large group of artist-run initiatives (ARI’s) from across Australia and New Zealand, with each curating an exhibition as part of the festival program.
HB17 is showcasing the work of more than 80 emerging and mid-career artists. It is a free festival that will occupy a range of existing galleries and unusual sites across Hobart. The extensive festival program includes exhibition openings, artist talks, music and performances.
HB17 is curated by Grace Herbert & Liam James and is the first festival of its kind in Australia.
