Big and bold, soft and sweet, the Brass of the TSO are coming to a venue near you
The TSO announces that its celebrated brass section will be hitting the road in November for a tour of regional Tasmania with concerts in Franklin, Devonport and Stanley. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear the impact, dynamics and sheer musicality of this stunning ensemble perform a diverse program including works by Bach, Wagner, Grainger and Terrancini.
TSO Managing Director Nicholas Heyward said, “The TSO loves to tour regional Tasmania. We have a long history of performing to our loyal audiences in Devonport and Stanley and the delightful Palais Theatre in Franklin is a new venue for us. We are looking forward to showcasing our amazing brass section – the jewel in the crown of the TSO – to audiences in both Northern and Southern Tasmania”.
The TSO’s 2018 70th Anniversary Season was released October 10 and is now on sale.
