MAC: The Same As It Never Was
• ‘The Same As It Never Was’
An exhibition by David Hawley
Launch: 6pm Friday October 9
This exhibition by Moonah-resident artist David Hawley comprises painting, installation, video and plastic. The work derives initially from the results from a malfunctioning photocopier, which becomes the starting point for a broad, deep and engaging exploration of where a small, ‘accidental’ starting point can lead and find expression in a variety of materials and forms.
Gallery Hours are 10am – 5pm Tuesday and 10am – 2pm Saturday
Exhibition runs until November 7
This project has been assisted by Moonah Arts Centre, The Tasmanian Government and the University of Tasmania
