First Major Exhibition by Denise Mitchell B.A. (F.A.&V.C) and grand re-opening of the recently renovated Gallery @ 15-17 Driffield St., Queenstown.

The grand re-opening and first exhibition at the newly renovated ‘Denise Mitchell Studio Gallery’ 15-17 Driffield St. Queenstown Tas. to be held from:-
6 p.m. on Friday, the 23rd October 2015, and runs for two weeks …

The exhibition title is ‘Time & Memory’ by Denise Mitchell, B.A. (F.A.& V.C.).

The Gallery has had a major renovation and will be shown to the public for the first time on the exhibition night.
It is also hoped that a new major Australian Art Prize in honour of the gallery’s last owner and generous patron, recently deceased, will be ready to announce also.

The Exhibition starts at 6pm on Friday 23rd. October, with several (brief) speeches and toasts.

The Body of Work is presented as oils on canvas with a secondary BOW of similarly themed pottery.

It is anticipated it will be a great night with a good many attendees. Media representatives are welcome and appreciated.
