99 problems, and solutions ain’t one!
Gee! Tasmania’s current opposition must be hard up for things to say!
I note with little interest yesterday’s press release from Bryan Green MP (21/04/2015), detailing a damning review of Voluntary redundancy practices in the Department of Health and Human Services ( TT here ).
Really Bryan, are you trying to suggest that these practices didn’t occur during the last term of government, or throughout many more prior?
This is not a party political issue; this is an administrative bungle or bureaucratic anomaly at worst, born from the inability of the public sector to deal with complex workforce issues.
Rather than sensationalise an issue for cheap political points, I challenge the Labor leader (or the Greens’ leader or the Premier) to provide their plan for how to deal with complex public sector workforce issues in his next media release.
Maybe Bryan could suggest what should have become of Mr X had he not been made redundant?
What Bryan were the circumstances of Mr X’s redeployment?
Come on Bryan solutions, not problems!
