March long weekend offers array of Spiegeltent delights

SPIEGELTENT EVENT NOTICE

The Spiegeltent has a jam-packed program on offer this March long weekend, ranging from family
friendly fun to circus and cabaret, as well as the very best of international and home-grown musical
talent.

Kicking off the entertainment on Friday evening (6 March) at 6pm is the Sharon Shannon Band hailing all
the way from Ireland, followed by Spiegeltent headline act Circa with their rich circus cabaret
performance Beyond. For those looking to party on into the night, DJ Dexter will be on hand from 10pm
with his legendary turntable skills to get the dance floor pumping.

Saturday, 7 March will see a beautiful act for jazz lovers at 3pm performed by Boden Lurighi Tanfield,

Beyond will also perform two shows, one at 5pm for those looking for an earlier night, followed by a
7.45pm performance. Saturday’s line-up will be capped off at 9.30pm with a stunning performance from
singer, songwriter and sexy Irish chanteuse Camille O’Sullivan, who is sure to seduce audiences with her
dramatic interpretations of songs by Cave, Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Waits, Bowie and more.

Tasmania’s revered contemporary theatre company Terrapin, will grace the Spiegeltent stage on Sunday
at 3pm, and 1pm and 3pm on Monday, with their moving family friendly production Boats. Multiinstrumentalist
and composer from Iceland Sóley, will bring the long weekend program of entertainment
to a close at 7pm with her intricate, spellbinding vocals and band to enchant audiences.

The free Outdoor Lounge will be open to everyone while the activity is happening inside the tent,
featuring delights from Taco Taco, Urban Bounty and beverages from Jansz, Cascade, Domaine A, Stoney
Vineyard, Dalrymple, McHenry and Sons Distillery and Ritual Coffee.

For those really wanting to dance the night away, the Silent Disco will also be open from 8pm-12am on
Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights in the Outdoor Lounge. Entry is $10.
