Wolfe Brothers’ Nothin’ But Trouble’ album released today

WOLFIES ANNOUNCE TASMANIAN TOUR DATES FOR NOVEMBER

Tasmanian four-piece The Wolfe Brothers today announce the first dates of their national ‘NOTHIN’ BUT TROUBLE’ Tour, in celebration of the new album of the same name which is released today! The tour will kick off in the band’s hometown of Hobart on Friday 31 October, before heading through Launceston and Burnie.

Last month, The Wolfe Brothers launched their #1FORWOLFEBROTHERS campaign, in a bid to make history as the first Tasmanian band to reach #1 on the ARIA chart with their new album. Tasmania’s Premier Will Hodgman has thrown his support behind the band, along with Hobart’s 7HOFM and Cascade Draught.

‘It’s On’, the debut album from The Wolfe Brothers achieved a #18 ARIA Album Chart and #2 Country Chart debut in early-2013; the highest ever debut for a Tasmanian band.

Says Tom Wolfe, “Our band is so excited to be releasing our new album ‘Nothin But Trouble’. We are proud Tassie boys who love to wave the flag of our beautiful state as we travel around the country. We are overwhelmed that Cascade has got together with 7HO and the other Grant Broadcasting stations around the state to launch the #1forwolfebrothers competition. It was pure Tassie support power that got us into the finals of Australia’s Got Talent and it would be amazing if that same Tassie power gives us a #1 album on the ARIA chart. If we achieve this we will be the first Tasmanian act to achieve an ARIA #1 position. Thanks for the support! The best is yet to come!”

As of this morning, ‘Nothin’ But Trouble’ was sitting at No.1 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart. All Tasmanians have until next Thursday to join the campaign to make The Wolfe Brothers the first Tasmanian music act to debut at #1 on the ARIA charts. All you have to do is purchase a copy of the new album online or at your local music store by 5pm next Thursday. LET’S GET TOGETHER AND DO IT TASSIE!!
