The propaganda war on Russia continues unabated …

On August 8, Ukraine, the Netherlands, Australia and Belgium signed a non-disclosure agreement whereby information on the progress and results of the investigation of the MH17 disaster would remain classified.

The results of the investigation of the Black Box recorders will be published once completed only if a consensus agreement of all parties that have signed the agreement prevails.

How many TT readers were aware of this, let alone Australians getting information solely from commercial media, the ABC and SBS?

Both Abbott and Shorten jumped on the US bandwagon, along with all Western allies, in a focused and extreme propaganda exercise blaming Russia for the atrocity. Both Abbott and Shorten seem to have lost their concern for justice for the families of MH17 as the evidence from many sources on the Internet points the finger of blame squarely at the Neo Nazi elements of the US-installed government of Ukraine.

While the legs have fallen of the MH17 false flag attack, the propaganda war on Russia continues unabated, complete with Australia-hurting sanctions on Russia. The role of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in all this is especially worthy of condemnation. The ABC is funded by we-the-people to inform us in the best traditions of journalism. Yet I found no mention on the ABC of the August 8th agreement to keep we-the-people in the dark about the MH17 black box investigation, or the Russian military press conference of July 21st detailing with verifiable evidence, a Ukraine fighter jet tailing MH17 minutes before it crashed, or numerous items of crucial evidence and information concerning MH17 and battlefield events in the Ukraine. On matters pertaining to the US-led western alliance, the ABC has devolved to a relay station for CIA propaganda.

Since 2000, the US has pursued a focused and determined military campaign to control the remaining oil fields, to encircle and threaten Russia and China and to ensure that the US is the sole superpower controlling the Earth’s resources. September 2001 ushered in the War on Terror which has led to regime change throughout the Middle East and this process threatens to continue. Modern US wars target civilians, civilian infrastructure and are designed to destroy whole cultures, leaving sectarian interests to fight over power and spoils, with rival groups funded and supported by Western powers. These former nations will never be allowed to recover to a point where they can exercise any control over the resources found in the lands they inhabit.

Very sophisticated

A key element enabling US global dominance is the cohesive deeply-embedded propaganda machine that is the Western mass media. It includes so-called left chronicles and commentators and is very sophisticated. It was tested out with the Y2K threat (remember that?) and found its wings with September 11th, 2001.

We continue to buy into an image of the USA as a benign beacon of democracy, built on and furthering principles of justice and equality. By its actions, not its words, the small group controlling USA policy shows itself to be the descendants of the Pennsylvania oil barons who killed the electric and steam cars and locked in a climate disaster; those who gave us the oil-based chemical holocaust of DDT, Dieldrin, Dioxin, Agent Orange, etc; those who have waged ongoing war on peasant and popular social justice movements and governments. Now that the wheels have fallen off the capitalist economic model, the climate system approaches new tipping points and the rate of change invariably exceeds computer model forecasts, the USA embarks on a barbaric military, economic and propaganda war on all nations to seize the remaining resources to keep things going.

The USA now stands as a nation with its economic future locked into arms manufacturing requiring endless war (on other people’s territory). The leadership of the USA is revealed as an organised criminal enterprise, the biggest and most powerful in history, relying on drugs, the gun and stand-over tactics, mind control of the masses in developed democracies and deception to keep its allies in line.

In the face of multiple crises in the natural and economic spheres, the USA is dragging the world into possibly the final conflict. Inexplicably, western democracies are going along with it.

Australia’s current political leadership is perfectly aligned to serve the US war agenda, with a government blinkered from reality by a redundant ideology, and a pathetically supine Labor opposition willing to abandon all principle in the hope of pleasing media controllers enough to regain the levers of power some day.

The very feebleness of the MH17 false flag operation is of grave concern, as if the US empire isn’t even trying to cover its tracks. Their actions speak of an end-game scenario.

The US has declared war on Russia. It includes a civil war in Ukraine, economic sanctions which weaken the EU and Russia, and an intense propaganda attack. Look at their actions not their words, and a resolve to confront and destroy Russia is obvious. The Russians understand what is going on and are responding in a very disciplined and strategic way. Russia lost 25 million people defeating the Nazis in Europe; we should have no doubts about their resolve to stand and fight.

US economy is in the process of disintegration

Similarly, we should look closely at the actions and stance of our ally, Uncle Sam. The US economy is in the process of disintegration. Whether the leadership believes that the US could survive a first strike on Russia better to rule the remnants, or sufficient leaders believe in the Rapture and their role in facilitating Armageddon, or they want go down with the sinking ship in a defiant gesture of US supremacy, American actions towards Russia have put the world at a very dangerous crossroads.

Australian politicians operate in a democracy and are there to do the will of the people. When they lie to the people and withhold information critical to our understanding, they betray our trust and damage our institutions. Our public broadcaster is funded by us to inform us. It is not a propaganda vehicle for a government, ours or others. When the public broadcaster obscures the truth by focussing on unsubstantiated rumour and propaganda, and does not report important facts, it loses our trust and damages our democracy.

We-the-people need to demand of our government that it speak honestly to us. We-the-people need to encourage our employees in the national broadcaster to act with courage and professionalism.

We need to re-evaluate our relationships with nations and be an agent for building trust and co-operation in the face of complex problems facing mankind.

It is not enough to rely on Russia and China to save the world from the madness of the USA. We in the developed democracies need to step up to the plate. Our leaders and institutions are failing, we must not.
