Party-political ads disguised as official notification?
I am attaching jpg files obtained from scanning Liberal Party electoral material that landed in our letter box this week.
I wonder whether you are familiar with this material? To me, it looks very much like party-political advertising disguised as official notification from the Electoral Office – particularly the envelope addressed to the Householder.
Look at the mug-shot of (Andrew) Nikolic (Liberal candidate for Bass) and the blurb from Abbott that were enclosed within that misleading envelope.
I wonder whether this is fully permissible under electoral laws? I wonder what Dr Kevin Bonham has to say?
I wonder whether the post office box on the Return Envelope is a Liberal Party or Electoral Commission box?
