Twiggy at play …
Wills Domain, a vineyard in the heart of the southern wine growing region, just north of Margaret River, coal free country.
On Friday March 1 at the end of a wonderful lunch – prepared by chef Bradley Hornby, one of the West’s growing giants, the ambience of the afternoon was shattered by the arrival of a helicopter.
Within minutes in strode the Lord of the Manner, grandson of Lord Forest, one Twiggy Forest. The only table, for eight, still unfilled was taken up by himself.
The mainly foreign tourists seemed bemused by Ockers at home rather than abroad …
It was a Look-At-Me moment.
Maybe the lunch had another purpose … perhaps to learn how to stop mining in my backyard …
