Labor swept aside … again

Country Liberal Party Leader Terry Mills said Northern Territorians had “asked for change – and change they will get” after his party was swept to power, ending 11 years of Labor reign.
The CLP has claimed 14 seats and could win as many as 16 in the 25-seat chamber, earning a significant swing against Chief Minister Paul Henderson’s Labor Party.
Labor could end up with as little as eight seats, down from its previous 12, with a near 15 per cent swing in the bush vote doing the damage.
