Forestry: Everybody is suffering

Tony #8. I have acted for timber workers log truck drivers and their families and they are being screwed. Felling is the most dangerous occupation in Tasmania. Rig owners are hocked to the eyeballs, everybody is suffering. I want a sustainable industry that doesn’t kill people, break people or communities. Why are we in this conflict. If you have an answer other than Gunns, let me know. I also act for forestry protestors who can be just as stupid and intransigent as the pro Gunns lobby. But at least they have the benefit of sincerity of belief; not being paid apologists.
