The Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association chief executive Jan Davis has made a tremendous contribution to Tasmania’s agriculture sector.
I would like to thank Jan for the commitment, hard work and importantly strong policy leadership that she has shown over the past five years in this important role.
Jan has given Tasmanian farmers a voice, in times of hardship and prosperity.
Her passionate advocacy has helped to build the industry, and has without doubt raised the profile of the TFGA to new heights.
Jan has worked tirelessly to promote investment in Tasmanian agriculture, enhance the profitability and business of farming, reduce red tape, support farming families, improve agricultural research and development and lobby for continued expansion of irrigation.
I wish Jan all the very best for her future endeavours.
