Willie Simpson – The Australian Beer Companion

Tim Cox will be launching Willie Simpson’s new book The Australian Beer Companion – Your Guide to Australia’s Top Breweries and Microbreweries at Fullers Bookshop on Sunday, August 16, at 2pm.
Willie is well known in beer circles far and wide – and is the owner and brewer at Seven Sheds Brewery in North West Tasmania.
He has been commenting on the amber nectar for more than twenty years.
Willie has travelled the country, sampling and interviewing, to create a comprehensive beer guide as a homage to our nation of vibrant beer making and drinking.
More than 100 breweries are featured in the book including a number of Tasmanian microbreweries including Iron House Brewery, Wineglass Bay Brewing, Two MetresTall, Taverners and Moo Brew.
This event is one of the last to be hosted in the current Fullers’ premises as we excitedly prepare to move to a larger space at 131 Collins Street.
It will be of particular interest to anyone who may enjoy an occasional foray into the world of beer.
