I organised a private petition, paid for by me, regarding the stuff up with the Metro Bus Services to the Eastern Shore, in particular the absence of a bus (old 268) from Glenorchy through Risdon, Lindisfarne Village, Rose Bay to Rosny requesting it be reintroduced. Mark Stalker of Metro informed me by phone BEFORE the Review, there was no hope of that happening. Metro eventually organised THREE buses to go through the Village, Rose Bay to Rosny. Three -how kind is that. My petition had 486 signatories and many people phoned me about how cross they were. However, if Mark Stalker can say there is “no hope of that happening” before the Review, what hope do we have.
