The latest Tasmanian State Service survey released today shows good results in employee engagement, workplace health, safety and wellbeing, job satisfaction and team work.
This is confirmation that Tasmanian State Service continues to be a positive place to work, and State Service employees have a strong commitment to serving the community.
The recent People Matter Survey was open to all State Service employees and officers in May 2015.
The Survey received the highest participation rate of previous State Service employee surveys (30.61 per cent / 8 380 people).
The strongest results were about workplace behaviour, working relationships, and employees’ commitment to working in the Service and serving the community.
The survey results along and with other reports and research, are used to identify key areas to focus attention. At this stage the focus is on change management and work health safety and wellbeing.
Individual agencies will identify relevant areas raised by staff and work with their employees over the next 12 months.
A summary of the whole-of-service results will be on the State Service Management Office’s website today. (www.dpac.tas.gov.au/divisions/ssmo)
