The three Greens MPs met this morning and agreed that we would keep an open mind on the likely no confidence Motion to be brought on by Labor.

We agreed that we would wait to hear Minister Petrusma’s response to a series of questions about how 151 potentially at-risk children were ignored for a lengthy period by Child Protection in the North West.

We were genuinely prepared to give the Minister a chance to explain her lack of timely action on this serious matter.

Regrettably, Minister Petrusma answered none of the substantive and very serious questions asked by the Greens.

We felt we were given no choice but to express a lack of confidence in this Minister, and we did so with heavy hearts.
