High Tea for Marriage Equality in Canberra

Adore Tea in Federation Square is getting behind the marriage equality campaign by hosting a fundraising High Tea called Equali-Tea today, Saturday 15 August 2015.

Russell Nankervis, the organiser and employee of Adore Tea decided to host the event, recognising it was one way he could make a difference.

“Marriage equality is as a social justice issue has been talked about for far too long, now our government should take steps to achieving it,” Mr Nankervis said.

“With a Bill before Parliament, it’s important that we do our best to make sure that we make the campaign for equality even stronger.”

All profits will go to Australian Marriage Equality and their ongoing campaign.

At the end of the event Russell, on behalf of Adore Tea will present Ivan Hinton-Teoh with an oversized cheque for the funds raised.
