Royal Hobart Hospital decision
The future of the Royal Hobart Hospital is currently being considered by Cabinet.
The Government will make a decision that is mindful of ensuring the best possible health outcomes for Tasmania that are within our capacity to pay.
Following today’s Cabinet meeting, we will again consult with key stakeholders and we hope to be in a position to fully inform the Tasmanian community by the end of the week.
The Government is not taking this decision lightly and it is important that we reach a decision that is prudent and well considered.
