Interim Regulation Reduction Coordinator Appointed

Posted on

I am pleased to announce today that Mr Stuart Clues will work with the Coordinator-General’s office for six months to help progress the regulation reduction initiative.

The role of Regulation Reduction Coordinator was advertised earlier this year but no appointment was made.

Mr Clues will undertake, on an interim basis, the functions of the Regulation Reduction Coordinator and advance the red tape reduction initiatives while I finalise the structure of my office, advertise and undertake recruitment of a permanent Regulation Reduction Coordinator.

Before joining the Attorney’s office, Stuart had 11 years’ experience as the Executive Director of the Housing Industry Association (HIA), where a key responsibility was identifying major industry regulatory burdens and lobbying the Government for change.

I look forward to working closely with Stuart over the next six months on this very important task.
John Perry, Coordinator-General
