The President Emeritus of Youth With A Mission (YWAM), John Dawson, will be speaking in Launceston.

Mr Dawson will address a city-wide leaders’ event at City Baptist Church, 11 Frederick Street, Launceston, at 7.30pm on Saturday 6 December. He has spoken at hundreds of citywide gatherings around the world.

YWAM operates 1200 centres around the world, offering training for young people, volunteering opportunities, short-term experiences and long-term compassion programs.

A widely read author, Mr Dawson is also the founder of the International Reconciliation Coalition (IRC) and a leading visionary at the forefront of this rapidly growing movement.

IRC provides research, training and networking, bringing deep reconciliation to past and present situations. There are now 42 major initiatives gaining momentum.
