Save Ralphs Bay Inc (SRB) is holding Public Meetings this week, to inform the community about the recent RPDC Hearings, and to explain what happens next in the RPDC assessment process for the Walker Corporation’s proposal to build a canal estate development on the footprint of the Ralphs Bay Conservation Area.
The first of these Public Meetings will be held at the Lauderdale Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday, August 26th. Speakers will include Jess Feehely (Environmental Defenders Office), Dr. Eric Woehler, (Birds Tasmania), Sue Wragge (Underwater Adventures), and a number of individuals from the local community and further afield, who made representations at the Hearings.
On Sunday, August 30th at 3pm there will be a similar Public Meeting at the Calverton Hall, South Arm.
