Bob Brown: Franklin Conversations @ the Founders Room

Tasmanian Writers' Centre
07.12.12 4:49 am

You are warmly invited to join us for this special event ...

It gives us great pleasure to invite you along to hear Bob Brown, founder of the Australian Greens and statesman of the Australian environmental movement, in conversation on the 30th anniversary of the beginning of the Franklin Dam blockade.

How has Tasmania and Tasmanian writing developed in the 30 years since this historic clash?

We also welcome writer Cameron Hindrum, who will discuss his novella The Blue Cathedral in conversation with the centre’s Director, Chris Gallagher.

We hope you can join us to discuss literature with a distinct Tasmanian flavour.

Franklin Conversations @ the Founders Room will be held at the Founders Room, Level 2, Salamanca Arts Centre (upstairs, off Wooby’s Lane) on Wednesday 12th December, 2012, from 6pm - 8pm.

Please RSVP by 10th December to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

This is a free event. Drinks will be available from the bar.

We look forward to seeing you there for this wonderful end-of-year event.
