My book is about Tassie … http://www.acryinginthewind.com ... You’ll get the main drift on the website.
This is serious history, thoroughly researched and accurate, but presented for the broad literate audience.
There is to date no book in the market that provides an overview of our history but also tells it as a human story full of the usual drama, love, hate, betrayal and all the other gore – and yet it’s a book about hope and redemption.
It provides the history through the adventures of four typical families, inc Aboriginal, and gives each a voice (another thing that’s not commonly heard here), and it ends in a contemporary novel in which a descendant of each family interact and it also includes an environmental story. The basic premise of the book is to ask: how does our past shape us today?
