Several UK government ministers overseeing the British exit from the European Union have resigned

Foreign secretary Boris Johnson, Brexit secretary David Davis and department for exiting the EU ministers, Steve Baker and Suella Braverman, stepped down, undermining an agreement reached last week between prime minister Theresa May and cabinet ministers pointing the UK toward a “soft” Brexit. In a letter outlining his resignation, Johnson said the Brexit “dream is dying, suffocated by needless self-doubt”
