Dark Mofo: Hermann Nitsch’s bull slaughter show gets mixed reviews

Mr Walsh referred to people who visit Auschwitz as “Creepy fucks” and then imported this trash into OUR state. I think his comment more accurately reflects himself, and those who participated in this repulsive spectacle, but then I guess, in his tiny brain, it’s irrelevant what others think. To him, controversy is good for business.
For Tasmania, being associated with such twisted, sick, degenerate, exhibitionism is most definitely NOT good for business and the fact that he had to hide this “exhibit”, demonstrates this more than adequately.
Its about time people took off their blinkers and saw Mr Walsh for what he is…. nauseating.
Perhaps if they ever repeat this spectacle, they can get a pollie to volunteer, in place of an innocent animal?
Seems like Nitsch’s fanfare eventuated to be a lot of hoo-ha for nothing!
Judging by what I saw on the video it looked anything but inspiring, but I guess you need to be there to soak the hyped-up atmosphere in what appeared to be a theatrical performance in a very sterile setting.
Apparently many walked out and claimed it was boring and a complete waste of time!
Others claimed it was mesmerizing, who I’d reckon need to get a life if that’s their view.
All up one could say it was a bit of a drawn-out controversial fizzer!
Art? – It barely fits that definition, and for those who lashed out to see the performance then remember ‘fools and their money are easily parted’
As for the bull then the debate lingers on!
