You write about food from times when you were hungry.
You write about water, and yes, alcohol, from times when you had none.
You write about life, your own fragile life, when all you see is death all around you.
You write about freedom when it is denied to you.
You write about politics when you see the impact it has on people.
And yes you write about death when it happens before your eyes and you are powerless to prevent it.
And all the while what drives you is this burning anger that just if you wrote about what you have seen people will understand and do something to stop all these atrocities and injustices.
