Terrapin Puppet Theatre is delighted to announce that Belinda Kelly has been appointed as Executive Producer, replacing Kevin O’Loghlin who leaves the company next month.

Currently working as a Project Producer at Arts Centre Melbourne, Belinda has many years experience in both Arts Producing and Administration in venues, festivals and companies as diverse as Griffin Theatre Company, Theatre Works and Arthur Productions.

Belinda has a passion for the development and presentation of new Australian work and is looking forward to building on Terrapin’s foundations to provide great experiences for audiences and enhanced engagement opportunities for artists.

Artistic Director Sam Routledge said “We are thrilled to have secured Belinda to this important role and I look forward to working with her to take Terrapin to the next level of success”.

Terrapin makes contemporary puppetry for young audiences, touring nationally and internationally.  It creates work for theatres, and interactive installations for public spaces, telling sophisticated stories of humour and pathos and embracing new technologies inspired by the age-old craft of puppetry.

The company’s work has been presented by the Vancouver International Children’s Festival, Taipei Children’s Art Festival, Festival De Betovering (The Netherlands), Edinburgh International Children’s Festival, the Royal Shakespeare Company, Lincoln Centre (New York), Sydney Opera House and Melbourne International Arts Festival amongst many others.
