Not a true depiction of the log trucks I see on the East Tamar highway.
They would have logs mounded half as high again to look fair dinkum.
On another vein, I had an empty one behind me on the way to work yesterday. It was wet, and at 100 km/h I thought I was motoring along just fine.
He came up from behind very quickly and sat less than 6 feet from me.
After 4 or 500 metres I managed to move to one side, still at 100km/h on the straight, without touching the brakes, as that may have had some serious consequences. He was very close on passing and I was glad the manoeuvring went by without incident.
I had no chance to obtain his plate as the spray completely blinded my vision.
I hope him or his mates read this and think a little, perhaps ask the question,” would you drive like this if the car you were tailgating contained your wife and children?”
