Did anyone notice Premier Bartlett’s response to the dire warnings in Anglicare’s report on ABC local news last night? It was virtually from the same cheat sheet that Brendon Blomley of Federal Hotels used.
While Blomley reminded Tasmanian viewers that from Federal Hotels’ point of view, things were working just fine, the laziest premier in Australia added that gambling is a “part of life” in Tasmania. No its not, you pair of greedy inept self serving goons.
Bartlett and Blomley’s arrogant response to the incredible array of suffering presented in Anglicare’s report with such banalities is sickening although bound to happen when a politician serves his corporate master so slavishly.
How coldly cynical of PM Rudd to praise Tasmania’s economic success when it has clearly come at such a drastic cost to we the people of this state.
Vote these immoral individuals and their friends out of office as soon as possible.
